Refund policy

At Melwyn's Cold Corner, we are committed to delivering fresh, hygienically handled, and high-quality meat products. As our products are perishable, we have a limited return and refund policy to ensure food safety for all our customers.

1. Returns

Due to the perishable nature of fresh meat, we do not accept returns or exchanges once an order has been delivered.

We request customers to inspect their order immediately upon delivery.

2. Damaged, Incorrect or Missing Items

If you receive:

  • An incorrect product
  • Missing items
  • Damaged packaging
  • A product that appears spoiled or unsafe

please notify us within 1 hour of delivery.

To help us investigate your request, please provide:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos or videos of the product and packaging
  • A brief description of the issue

Our team will review your request and respond as quickly as possible.

3. Refunds

If your claim is approved, we may offer:

  • A replacement product
  • A partial refund
  • A full refund (where applicable)

Refunds for prepaid orders will be processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

4. Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders

For Cash on Delivery purchases, approved refunds will be processed through:

  • Bank transfer
  • UPI
  • Another mutually agreed payment method

Customers may be asked to provide their bank account or UPI details to complete the refund.

5. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before preparation begins.

Once your order has been prepared or dispatched, cancellations cannot be accepted due to the perishable nature of the products.

6. Situations Where Refunds Cannot Be Provided

Refunds or replacements will not be issued if:

  • The customer changes their mind after delivery.
  • Products have been stored improperly after delivery.
  • Incorrect delivery information was provided.
  • The customer was unavailable to receive the order.
  • The complaint is made post 2 hours after delivery.
  • The product has been consumed or partially consumed before reporting the issue (unless a genuine quality issue is verified).

7. Delivery Area

Melwyn's Cold Corner currently provides local delivery only within our designated service areas.

Delivery availability may vary based on location and operational capacity.
